East Winch & West Bilney

Welcome to our village web site. We are two small adjacent villages within the same Parish, about five miles from  King's Lynn in Eastern England.

Please browse the index in the side bar, (on a mobile phone click on the three horizontal bars at the top of the page), for an overview of what is on the site. Clicking on a downwards facing arrow will open the menu further and reveal more pages. If you cannot find what you may be looking for use the search box at the top right of each page.

West Norfolk Community Transport Project is a service that provides transport into Kings Lynn weekly on Tuesdays. This transport was set up to provide a bespoke door to door service for anyone who through no fault of their own are unable to drive, have no personal transport or maybe no family member able to take them out.

All our mini buses are equipped with a rear passenger lift making it possible for people of all types of needs to utilize the transport. Including working animals and pets.

‘Our future QEH’ events postponed following election announcement

The ‘Our future QEH’ events, which were planned for across the local area in June, have been postponed -  following the announcement of the General Election by the Government earlier this week.

This announcement means that the country now enters the pre-election period of sensitivity, in the past this was more commonly referred to as ‘purdah’, which is statutory guidance about promotion of public spending whilst campaigning is taking place. You can read about the pre-election period here.

These events will be rescheduled for later in the year and we will release new dates as soon as possible.

Thank you for your understanding and we look forward to seeing you at a future event.
