Church Records

Churchyard Records. In 1977 the W.I. recorded data from each of the graves in the churchyard and the various memorial tablets in the church. This information has now been transcribed from the original files - and updated in some cases - and is available to download - see Churchyard Records

Norfolk Record Office.

Certain Church records, completed registers of Baptism, Marriage and Banns and Burial are held at the Norfolk Record Office at Norwich. Current 'open' registers are held by the PCC.

Some historical records are also available through the Norfolk Family History Society.

The Society holds records for All Saints Church, East Winch, in both print and electronic form as follows:-

Baptisms 1689 - 1867 - print and electronic

Marriages 1690 - 1838 - print and electronic

Burial 1678 - 1749 - print

1759 - 1901 - print

1678 - 1901 - electronic

Banns 1755 - 1885 - print and electronic

While the indexes on these pages are open to all, member or non-member, the original material is reserved for members use. Members can either visit Kirby Hall, browse those records uploaded to NORS or use the Members Research Service provided by the Research Team.
