Benefits Advice
Help with completing forms associated with various state benefits is available from the
'Benefits Advice and Review Team'.
The team is a small body of Borough Council officers who are able to visit you and give advice in connection with a variety of state benefits.
Many people find the system complex, scary even, and just do not know what questions to ask, or who to ask. Advice is one FREE telephone call away! - 0800 731 2253
The team can offer independent advice on whether you, or your family, may be entitled to state benefits, whether you are sick, retired, disabled or caring for someone.
The team is also able to help people complete forms for the following
Housing and Council Tax benefit: Means tested benefit.
Discretionary Housing payment
Attendance allowance

Pensions Credit
Carers allowance
Contact the team, to request a visit or to ask for advice - telephone 0800 731 2253
