Village Hall News - FEBRUARY 2013

KITCHEN REFIT

WORK COMPLETED - NEW FACILITIES NOW IN USE

We are very grateful to 'WREN' for their grant award towards the cost of this project.

The shortfall of approx. £2500 has been met from the village hall contingency fund.

It is our hope that, with the improved kitchen facilities, we will encourage and attract new hirers/clubs to this important village amenity, which has been a part of the village fabric for over sixty years.

WREN awarded a grant of £5000 to the Village Hall for the re-fitting of the kitchen.

Terry Robertson.
Treasurer East Winch Village Hall
.

New worktops, storage cupboards, sinks, extractor fan, floor covering and so on will be installed to thoroughly update the kitchen.
It is expected that the total cost of the work will be about £7500. There is therefore a shortfall of about £2500 to be found by the Trustees.

DONATIONS TOWARDS THE COST OF THE IMPROVEMENTS WILL BE GRATEFULLY RECEIVED

IF YOU ARE ABLE TO CONTRIBUTE TOWARDS THIS LARGE EXPENDITURE PLEASE CONTACT THE TREASURER - TERRY ROBERTSON - SEE HIS CONTACT DETAILS ABOVE.
