West Winch (St Mary the Virgin) with Setchey (St Mary)

The Revd Riaz
    
is the Priest-in-Charge of the Parishes of West Winch with Setchey, North Runcton, Middleton and East Winch with West Bilney
He was previously  Vicar of St Luke's Abbottabad, Diocese of Peshawar in the Church of Pakistan.

Riaz was licensed by the Bishop of Norwich on Thursday 3 April 2014 in the chapel at Bishop's House. The Bishop of Lynn led a service of welcome.

On Sunday 6 April 2014,  Rev. Mubarak, was installed at Middleton representing the West Winch benefice - now known as MIDDLEWINCH.

St Cecilia is a closed church in the care of the Norfolk Churches Trust;
the diocese permits up to three
services a year to be held there.

Fourteenth century foundations, mainly restored in 19th century. Thompson 'mouse' wooden furniture. Extensive churchyards.

Designed by Henry Bell, the architect also of the Custom House, King's Lynn.
Built 1710-1720, after spire of older church fell on nave during a storm!

This building is no longer a church., though the adjacent burial ground still exists.

Formerly, until April 2014 when there was a re-organisation, the Gayton Group of parishes included East Winch and West Bilney. With East Winch & West Bilney transferring to the Middlewinch Benefice, a new group was formed - The Gayton, Grimston and Massingham Benefice.
